Double Derby Day at HITS Ocala

The SBS Farms team closed out the HITS Ocala Winter circuit with a bang!

Congratulations to Molly Gfroerer and Liberty Road and Emma Walters and Just Imagine for winning the $2,500 Junior National Hunter Derby and the $5,000 USHJA National Derby, respectively.

Emma and SBS Farms’ Just Imagine jumped in beautiful form for the win in the final $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby, presented by Stal Hendrix. They topped 28 other competitors for the top call with impressive scores of 95 and 92 to take the win by more than 6 points. The pair also won three out of the four 3’ USHJA Hunter over fences classes for championship honors.

Molly Gfroerer and Liberty Road

Molly and Susan Schoellkopf’s Liberty Road posted two scores of 87 to take their title over 26 other competitors in a quality field. They also earned a tricolor, winning three Large Junior Hunter 3’3” classes, two over fences and the under saddle.
