BTRC May Show is a Blast

May 14, 2021

The Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center May show is in the books, and we're so proud of our riders and horses!

Reagan Perry was first in the Walk-Trot-Canter poles with Qualen’s Bally Wyck. Phoenix Oppenheimer was champion in the Beginner Hunters with Greystoke’s Jamaican Vacation. Lulu Semple was champion in the Intermediate Hunters with Hey Sailor and won top ribbons in the same division with Zenith.

Caroline Garcia was champion Low Children’s Hunter on Liberty Road, and Katrina Hora was reserve champion with her own Pretty Victory in the Thoroughbred Hunters.

Crisp and Alexandra Smith earned the championship in the Modified Junior Hunters, with Motion Picture and Emma Najdzionek taking the reserve championship.

Del Piero and Stephanie Brennan captured the championship in the Modified Amateur Hunters, while Stardust and Christine Ruh were reserve champions followed closely by Christine on Cakewalk.

Alexandra Smith rode Fidele De La Cour to the win in the 3’ BTRC Medal, won great ribbons in the Training Jumpers and placed second in the BTRC Jumper Classic.

Bellamy Brother and Liz Schaab captured top ribbons in the Puddle Jumpers, while Amanda Calistro and Equine Coutures Stainless earned top ribbons in the Training Jumpers and were third in the BTRC Jumper Classic. Intouchable and Randi Byrd won both Training Jumper classes and the BTRC Jumper classic.

Jackson and Hobcaw Creek shared top calls in the Open Hunters with Emma Walters aboard.
